The Cause

Since 1996, the On the Tip of the Toe Foundation has organized more than 70 therapeutic adventure expeditions for young people living with cancer. Much more than outdoor adventures, these excursions offer participants an opportunity to meet other young people who share the same realities. It is also an opportunity to build friendships by facing challenges together, as many young people wish to do at this time of life. The On the Tip of the Toe Foundation aims to help young people rebuild self-esteem and restore their hope in life by presenting them with challenges and helping them to meet those challenges. By participating in extraordinary expeditions to the extent of their abilities, these young people discover new horizons; they build their confidence in life and in themselves and understand that they can be stronger than the disease, no matter the challenges they face.

These expeditions are free to young people with cancer. To be able to do so, the On the Tip of the Toes Foundation solicits the support of generous donors and sponsors, particularly through fundraising events such as the CRYO Races.
